The population of whales is declining. One of the reasons for this is that they cannot hear each other’s mating calls due to underwater noise from cargo ships. This is a huge problem, as we need whales to survive. To help prevent their extinction and together with fieamelung.dk for Maersk, the world’s leading shipping mastodon, I came up with an idea – to install a device underneath their ships to enhance the whales mating calls and help them find each other. Based on our own research we defined the problem, developed the idea and built a concept around it. We made a case video to tell the story and pitch the idea.
