Mike Wind, the writer of Performance Craft, wanted to make a light pocket sized book for artists to bring for band practice and with them on tour. I made a swiss design inspired layout to make a natural link to the graphs and checklists featured throughout the book. I used masking tape and Mike’s own handwriting to make the subheaders along with classic handwritten ball pen elements to strongly hint to the reader not to hesitate filling up the book with their own personal notes.
